As a part of Forest Lake Baptist Church, the College Ministry helps carry out the larger mission of Forest Lake Baptist Church; “To love God and love people to Jesus.” We do this through Bible study, corporate worship, and other fellowship and social gatherings.

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM to share a meal with each other, pray for one another, and then study the Bible together. During Bible study we incorporate video, small group discussion, and other methods. We do this in order to meet the needs of different learning styles.

We meet on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM to fellowship with one another and study God's Word together. If you are looking for an intimate and personal setting, come and join us!

At times during the year, we will also partner with other churches in the area to stay connected with other believers. Being part of a larger body is important for any Christian, young and old.

We have monthly Girls' Night and MANDATEs in which the College Ministry girls and guys get together and have their own time of fellowship and fun. During the fall and spring semesters we particpate in the local park and rec softball league. There are two teams for students to pick from - Men’s and Coed. The two seasons start in August for fall and March for spring.

We also have outreach events for the surrounding college campuses - the University of Alabama, Stillman College, and Shelton State Community College. We are constantly looking for ways to best minister to them and look for opportunities to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the students through those events.
